I am interested in health effects of scented products. Asthmatics frequently
cite scented products as triggers for their asthma. For some (including me)
scented products are the primary trigger. I strongly suspect some materials
used in scented products may cause respiratory sensitization. However, there
is no commercial testing available to determine if fragrance chemicals are
There is a program available for free online that compares structures of
chemicals with those known to cause chemically induced asthma. I do not have
the chemistry knowledge or the MDL molfile program needed to use it.
My question is there anyone in this group that would be willing to help me
out with this?
