Transfection Protocol problems with expression

Hi all,
what transfection protocol and reagents do you use for DNA? I have a vector of 6kb....

I am using lipofectamine right now but I am not getting efficient expression of my protein what should i do?

Hello Yiin,

I would try different transfection product such as FUgene-6. Works very well for me and does not require changing media.

How are you assessing the transfection efficiency? western blot? reporter assay?

maybe you are getting transfection just your analysis of transfection may not be working?
