| Dear All, Hi, I am newbie. Lately, my boss wanted me to culture the N1-S1 cell lines. I am hoping if someone could give me some tips on how to culture this cell line. Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lily |

They are both available online and have detailed protocols for growing all their cells. If you got the cells from another lab, ask there how they grow them. |

| hi, I'm culturing these cells too, I have got my cells from ATCC. I am too not sure about how to grow them, no one I know has handled these cells before. The cells are supposedly suspension cultures, as mentioned by ATCC. A good number of them attach to the flask, and most of them grow as clustered floating cells. I'm currently trying to calculate their doubling time, in first expt it was about 18-24 hours. They grow pretty rapidly as heterogeneous population and require a medium change/subculture every 2-3 days. Any more observations from other users will be highly welcome ![]() Thanks |
