| If your cells are in suspension, like mine are, you only need to spin them down in order to harvest them. However I think the reason for different protocoles for different cells is the fact that inter-cellular attachments are different among different cell lines, so is the adherency to the flask. As I said some cells even grow in suspension and these are not only blood cell lines. Maybe it has something to do with the memberane carachtristics. I have also dealth in past with cells which are semi-adherent to the flask. To harvest them I only needed to wash them down with PBS a few times. ![]() |
