Question Endothelial Permeability Assay

Hello,
Does anyone have a method for endothelial permeability assays.

Some papers use 3um costar transwell plates for HUVEC.

However, I want to know a whole protocol which is well detailed because I am new in this area of research.

Thank you

Default Re: Endothelial Permeability Assay

Our lab has worked on HUVEC before. What they did is "cell invasion assay". I am not sure if that is the same method as yours. The principle is as follow:
HUVEC cells were grown in the insert well with drugs. after period of time incubation, cells would go through the membrance and to the bottom of the insert well. A cell staining will then be carried out. Quantifcation by fluorescent imaging.
