Hello

I'm looking to start up some keratinocyte-fibroblast cocultures (keratinocytes seeded onto a fibroblast populated collagen gel). I have tried this once before during my PhD but didn't have much luck.

We don't have access to primary human cells and so will most likely opt for HaCat keratinocytes. Can anyone suggest a suitable fibroblast cell line please? I used HCA2 cells previously but they produced large amounts of contraction of the collagen gel and I never produced more than about five keratinocyte layers in the epidermis, with out any of the recognised tissue architecture.

Any suggestions would be great,thanks
