Malus White Angel ???

We just had one of these white flowering crabapples planted in our yard. I
ready one description stating the fruit stays on all winter. I thought all
crabapples dropped their fruit. Is this not true? Is this a Less Messy
crabapple tree? Any help is appreciated...

We have 3 flowering crabapples on our property and 2 of them drop the fruit
as they leaf out in the spring, one drops them a couple weeks after hard
frosts begin. I imagine it just depends on the stock it was bred from.
