Hi, I encountered a problem. I want to use betaine hydrochloride in cell culture. But I find that the betaine hydrochloride solution is high acid and need add large amounts of NaOH to adjust the solution to neutral pH. As a result, the culture media which include high concentration of betaine hydrochloride will also contain considerable amount of NaCl. I doubt that high NaCl will affect the experiment. But I am not very sure about this guess. Therefore, I want to know whether I need set a NaCl control...

I was wondering whether anyway knew of any papers which discuss what affect other bacterial proteins have on protein fragments.

I am working with HEK 293T cells, I got them from ATCC ,till 2 passages they were ok after that they are started to get clumped and they are not attaching well. I am trying to separate them by pipetting, but they are not
Anybody has any suggestion, I have few cells left in my flask now, can I still get them in monolayer.
