Projects are about animal and human nutrition, cosmetics and seaweed cultures. All of them involve the use of different species of algae and different techniques. I am learning new protocolls and appling techniques I have never done before. Everything goes so quickly.

I am studing HPLC theory and I find it quite interesting, so I hope to be able to start working soon. On the other hand I am going well with the extraction of different substances and this is great.
I am only a little frustrate for my bad planning of culture of micro and macroalgae: I haven't thought in how collecting my algae at the end of the culturing period. Fortunately I have a good team which help me and I have no dubts that the problem will be solved in a couple of days.

I need help for both operating HPLC and optimizing condition to characterize my samples. At the moment I will be happy with operating the HPLC, but I didn't figure out how. I am studying some information wich I received from the forum and I hope to start soon.

This is my first post in this blog, so I would like to tell about me.
I am an Italian biologist with a PhD in Biology of Algae by the University of Messina (Italy). I am murried with a Spanish and we live at the Canary Islands.
