| Hi I'm a horrible statistician and need help choosing the correct statistical test for the following experiment. I have the same substrate digested with T1 under denatured and non-denatured conditions. This produces bands with varying intensities due to the amount of cleavage. I would like to compare the amount digested at specific spots under both conditions but because the values are very different I need to normalize this. You can do this by taking a ratio of the nondenatured and denatured values but can I normalize this ratio in order to compare specific cuts. Example of the data NT position T1 Denatured(area) T1 Nondenatured(area) 31 101 64 30 144 37 29 105 29 18 147 24 16 207 31 |
