Statistical tests for qualitative data

Hello..
I'm a student of clinical research and I'm currently working on my thesis. my topic is 'Loopholes in the Informed consent Process for clinical trials in India'. I have planned to gather data regarding this topic through a survey of patients and investigators along with other staff concerned with taking informed consent before recruiting patients in a trial. I will gather qualitative data through questionnaires.
my problem is that Im not understanding how to analyse that data. what tests are availableanalysis of qualitative data. I do not want Chi square test bcoz i will not be comparing any variables for association. Please Help!!

You probably want to review non-parametric tests, I myself used a few.
