Hi,
I am into MD and I am supposed to calculate the volume of protein. I ave ths query regarding the volume of protein. Does the solvent excluded surface form the volume of protein. I dont think SAS cna be accounted for the volume. Please help!!!

Hey there Pamela!

Not sure exactly what your question is.

How exactly does your protein volume have to be?

Usually, the amount of protein is measured by assay such as colorimetric or spectrophotometric.

What do you mean by SAS (surface area something)?
