Default Growing bactria in collier media containing different amino acids to label protein

Hello,

I want to grow bacteria in collier media which is like ecpm1 media but i add amino acids myself to label my protiein, but i dont have cytosine (one of the nucleosides) to add along with other nulleosides. I was wondering if i grow without cytosine, will be problem in my growth?

Thanks

It is like ECPM1, it has nutrients for growing bacteria, but amino acids are added individually. it's for labeling protein.
