I 've just heard a biological phrase which is genetic disorder, but I am not specialized in this field, Could any one give a correct answer?

A genetic disorder is one which is caused by defective genes or defective DNA. It could be either a faulty nucleotide sequence which could be due to deletion of a nucleotide or insertion of an unwanted nucleotide etc.
