 Milk DNA extraction high 230,280nm I am doing Cow milk DNA study, I use CTAB, pehol-chlorm extraction,freezing cool ethanol extraction pellet twice. air dry, and dissolve in TE, but UV reading read UV230 and 280 is as high as UV260, any body has good suggestion??  |

| Re: Milk DNA extraction high 230,280nm Sounds like phenol contamination in your prep (don't like using phenol-chloro extractions for that reason). In this case running a gel with a standard would probably give you a better understanding of the quantity and quality of your DNA. |
