Default Query regarding cloning

The eukaryotic cells except some yeasts dnt have plasmids..n it is nt possible to insert the desired gene into the genome, insertion for cloning is to be done only in plasmids. Then how is it possible to use eukaryotic cell lines as hosts for cloning experiments???

Cell culture is the complex process by which cells are grown under controlled conditions, generally outside of their natural environment. In practice, the term "cell culture" has come to refer to the culturing of cells derived from multi-cellular eukaryotes, especially animal cells.
