Hi guys. I wanna to know all about Life science and Life science software in details. Although i know that something about it that a software needed for life science research but want to know what is the benefit and how it works for life science research. Please help me for knowing in details. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Do you want to know softwares use in particular purpose or in general ?
Many softwares are used in life science, mostly in bioinformatics area, such as BLAST, CLUSTAL W, PHYLIP, etc for studying nucleic acid / amino acid sequence. Also there're softwares to draw chemical structure of a molecule, e.g. ChemDraw, ChemSketch. Furthermore, there's also a software to draw bilogical pathway, like Bio Software from Cambridgesoft.

So that is the overview of softwares in life science. Let me know if you want to know more.
