| Hello, here is my first question for you all. I hope some one can help..A person has a mutation in his somatic sense (touch). when cells from his fingers are measured we find that the reverse potentials of the ion current that is activated by pressure is -30 mV instead of -5 mV. a- What change did this mutation have on the properties of the pressure affected Chanel? b- assuming the resting potential of the membrane is unchanged will the person with the mutation have a better or worse sense of touch? please any help is very very appreciated thank you!! |
