| Hi, I am trying to graft mutant/wt arabidopsis plants. The growth rate of the two genotypes seems similar. However, when I graft the opposite shoots/roots together, roots form at the graft union (coming out of shoot) and the shoots fall off the roots. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to form a successful graft union? Do you think this is an issue with my technique (it is my first time grafting) or do I need to change the growth hormone balance in the media? Thank you!! |
