Default caps and small letters?



hey guys,
when it is written in caps and small letters about anything, what do they mean. like pde1 and PDE1. Is the small one the gene and caps the protein?? kind of forgot it?

Exactly, you got it right. Small for gene, CAPS for protein, that's the nomenclature.
