Default advanced molecular bio question on final

any ideas and help appreciated to help me get this one:

"Analysis of the fairy shrimp genome identifies only one gene encoding a cyclin-dependent kinase (cdk). is this due to an incomplete "read" of the genome or is it possible for cells to have normal cell cycle regulation with just one cdk? explain your answer"

Thanks!
