| Hi! We're using cancer cell line conditioned media as a source for MMP's for our research. Initially, we used breast, prostate and kidney cancer cells, but we can't get any clear bands. There were faint bands but it can't be detected when we take a picture. We tried using lung cancer cells, then passed the conditioned media through a filter tube to get a protein-concentrated CM. We got distinct bands for this trial, but when we tried to take a picture with the gel doc, it can't seem to resolve the bands clearly, so we can't get a densitometer reading for the bands. Suggestions, anyone? |
