Fluorescence assays and absorbance assays
What is the difference between fluorescence and absorbance assays?
Re: Fluorescence assays and absorbance assays
Well the answer is in the definition.
fluorescence assay--will emit light, thus you will measure the emitted light as the signal of the assay.
absorbance assay--will produce a color, the intensity of the color will absorb a given wavelength (say 450nm) and that is the measured signal.
