You know. So people could fly. I know this probably sounds really stupid, but I just think it would be nice to know. You never know what scientists can do these days. I just hope it could be possible one day.

No, what you are proposing is impossible. Scientists do splice genes from one organism to another, but creating hybrids between two very different animals is impossible. The genetic code is not a blueprint so much as instructions on what steps stem cells undergo to form an organism (embryogenesis). I am simplifying a bit but that should give you an idea. Your question is thus like asking if we could combine the recipe for chocolate cake and curry and create a hybrid. You will simply end up with a nonfunctioning monster.
