Default What type of biologists discovered that all organisms are related?

Which types of biologists ( e.g. biochemists, geneticists) discovered that all organisms are related? If not just one kind of biologist, which type contributed the most? Thanks very much in advance!

probably genetics has contributed most of the hard evidence, but paleontologists, biochemists, evolutionary biologists contributed as well

what is your background? what do you need this for?
(maybe we can help more if we know what exactly you expect from an answer)
