How come say, Chinese folks have different eye shape compared to say Irish folks?

I mean how come, why?
1 in a Million: But why? What is the actual "reason"?
Nathan: So if it's due to the sun then how come say Africans who live in hot sunny conditions too don't have the same eye shape as say Chinese, Japanese etc?

Agreed, evolution.
Maybe something to do with them being out in the sun more made their eyes more squinty naturally over time.
