Plants as sentient beings?

Is there any study on plants being able to think or feel. Or just give me your thoughts on it =]
@Wise Duck:

Plants respond to stimuli.

They do not "feel" like an animal since they have no nervous system. They are not sentient.

Edit: Precisely.
