 In the Electron Transport Chain, why only the NAD carries the 2 electrons? Why not other molecule carries them? Why only the NAD carries the 2 electrons in the electron transport chain and why the water molecule break down in H+ ion and oxygen ion ?Please tell its urgent  |

| because the NAD has a 2+ positive charge that attracks the negative charge of the two electrons. opposite charges attracts, and it makes for a stable molecule, until it reaches a transport channel, which energy is used to break that bonds. water breaks down, because the H+ ion is used in a proton pump that creates a gradient that pushes electrons through the electron tranport change. The 02 product is a just that, a product . |
