Default Genetics help!!

I have been given a problem to do with crosses and stuff. I have done it but i got a weird answer so I wonder if you could help me:

C - coloured feathers
I - blocks expression of C
c - white feathers
i - dosent block C

Leghorn chicken - CCII
Wyandotte - ccii

Qn - What propotion of the F2 progeny obtained from crossing those two above will have white feathers?
My answer - 13:3
Am I correct? What do you get?

Default Re: Genetics help!!

Well
when you self cross the above F2 Progeny then you will corss in a way
CcIi x CcIi and you will get 4 white out of 16 so the ratio will be 12:4.

regards
aftab
