Question Question: What are cell living requirements?

Does anyone have an estimate on cell living requirements, size-wise? I know that at a certain point, the surface area is not great enough to sustain the cell, and that at another point the microstructures collapse (on the too-large side). I was wondering what the points were, and if there were a point at which the heterotrophic cell is too small to digest molecules.

Thanks in advance!
