 BLAST small peptide Hi! I have make a novel antibody against my study protein and I have some problems with it. I believe that it can recognize another cellular proteins, but when I make a blast I did not have results, because the peptide only alignment with my protein. I have probe different blast programs but they don't work if the peptide is smaller than 10 aa. Some idea?? Thanks. María  |

 Re: BLAST small peptide Well, different blast tools do different things. You need to single out on one or two tools that can do the work for you. (Eg... If I was looking for ESTs, I would use tblast ot tblastx only) The reason you did not have any results is maybe that you did not get a decent enough bit score. |
