| I recently sent a plasmid containing a cloned PCR product for sequencing. As I have not done anything like this before I was wondering if someone could give me some ideas on how I can anlayse or interpret these sequencing results. I am aware that I need to take the reverse complement of the reverse primer sequence but from there am not sure what steps I need to take to examine the sequence homology of my plasmid and the Genbank sequence. Thanks in advance for any help! |

| In the first place, do you have any softwares or tools to analyze your DNA Sequencing results first? FinchTV is one software that can be used to analyze your sequencing results. There are other softwares such as those from LASERGENE like Seqman, that allows you to examine homology too. |
