vegetative bud sequences in ncbi databases
 

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to find out how can I compare a list of probes against a database to see what the frequencies are of probes representing vegetative bud among them??

Does anybody know how to do this?

Do a BLAST with blast [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]client [blastcl3 download from ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/blast/network/netblast/ and then parse the result with bioperl. You need PERL for this. All this can be automated with Taverna as mentioned in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] .
