| Hello, Im taking an undergraduate course in biochem, and I came across a question I dont understand. For an enzyme catalyzed reaction, the initial velocity was determined at two different concentrations of the substrate. Estimate the value of Km. The hint says we dont have to do a double reciprocal plot for this question, but can use the Michaelis-Menten equation. [S](mM) V(mM/min) 1.0 2.0 4.0 2.8 Ive tried doing this several times and I cant get a reasonable answer. Could someone please walk me through this? Thank you! |
