biochemistry question-finding substrate concentration? Km is 15 microM. what is the substrate concentration when Vo=2.3microM/min? The answer is 1.2microM, but how? Km=[S], when Vo=1/2Vmax I used formula Vo=Vmax [S]/Km, but cannot get the correct answer. Thank you very much for your help! |
Re: biochemistry question-finding substrate concentration? Hello, You have not supplied enough information, I recon. You need a value for vmax, or information allowing you to calculate it. Can you provide a more complete description of the problem? tgd |
