Default Dissolving KOH in glacial acetic acid

I'm trying to make a 5M potassium acetate pH 4.8 solution for a miniprep by dissolving KOH pellets in 29.5mL of glacial acetic acid. I got to a point where theres a lot of white precipitate (~pH 4.3). What am I supposed to expect? How can I get the precipitates to dissolve?

Try adding acetic acid to potassium acetate.

I think you're pH-ing in the wrong direction.

Buffer P3 - Neutralization Buffer
Ptassium acetate, pH 5.5

Dissolve 294.5g potassium acetate in 500mL dH2O. Adjust the pH to 5.5 with glacial acetic acid (about 110mL). Adjust the volume to 1 liter with dH2O.

Hi mayeuw,
Why don't you analyze and research on the properties, and PH value of potassium acetate, and glacial acetic acid. Plz even check for the amount of the quantity to be taken before dissolving the potassium acetate, in glacial acetic acid.
