Question Storing Samples

Any ideas on the storage of samples?

How long can lysates stay in the -20C or -80C?

What about DNA can it stay long in the 4C

and RNA??? -80C?

thank you in advance for this

Hi,

If its bacterial lysates then it colud be pelleted in Tris(10mM) and washed twice and resuspended in Tris+Glycerol mix and stored in -80 for a year, it worked for me. I used it for protein extraction!!.
