 gel elctrophoresis before Southern blotting I will perform Southern blotting and try to detect where the blaZ gene is located on S. aureus(chromosome or plasmıd). I never performed Sothern blotting before there fore I would like to ask : how long should I do gel electrophoresis before I transfer the membrane. I will use 15x15 cm gel.        |
