How should I make LB solution?

i need to make LB but I am not sure what steps I should take to do this. I have the recipe....

Welcome to the forum!

I usually make LB soon before I can use the autoclave. I also include the stirbar in the 2 L Flask and cover it with aluminum foil and autoclave tape.

Then you can after autoclaving simply mix the flask and LB.

Let the flask cool until it is easily touched (ie not hot, turning warm).

This prevents the antibiotic or ampicillin from being destroyed by heat.

Add the antibiotic and mix.
