Exclamation Mini-prep Roche Kit

Mini-prep Roche Kit:

not the best kit for cloning... I think the Tris-EDTA elution buffer is not the greatest for later enzyme reactions...

I always swap the TE elution buffer for 10mM Tris without EDTA. I've left plasmid DNA eluted in 10mM Tris on my bench at room temp for weeks and found no degradation. So the EDTA does not seem to be essential, and since it inhibits sequencing and some other reactions I try to avoid it as an elution buffer.
