 growing big Arabidopsis plants in magenta boxes Hi everyone, I am trying to grow 8-10 leaves stage Arabidopsis plants in magenta boxes. I use 0.5x MS and plant agar. For now what I observe is plants start flowering very early with only 4 leaves and they have very long petioles as well. I found out that light would have an effect on this and I wonder if the lid is causing the problem. Water condensates on the lid and maybe it cahnges the R/FR ratio. Could it also be the ethylene trapped in the box since there is very little ventilation? I would appreciate if you share any experience. Thanks a lot! Regards, Melis  |
