Default gi to AGI code

I am new in the Arabidopsis world. If I have a list of genBank GI number of
Arabidopsis geens, which resources I have used to convert these GI to AGI
code? (I can write programs if necessary)?

At present, to convert them, I am using the TIGR's release map to genBank's
nr seq heads, but I have mapped only 95% of my genes (~ 1500 genes).

Any good suggestion?

Thank you

Default gi to AGI code

<x-flowed>Hi Edwin

Here are my two cents,

You could use:
The *.seq files from TIGR (those are the gene sequences including
introns and UTRS)
The *cds files from TIGR (those are just the coding sequences), if the
genes you have are processed mRNA then it will be better to use this

You must also take into account that the TIGR and MIPS genome annotation
are not completely the same, so, some genes could be present in TIGR but
not in MIPS and viceversa, you should check both.

I hope this helps
