| Postdoctoral fellowships are available to perform function/mechanism studies of critical components of the ubiquitin system in Arabidopsis. The ubiquitin signals, which include monomer and various different Lys-linked polymers are conjugated in a regulated and specific manner to various critical regulators in altering and targeting their destinations. Recognition/perception of these ubiquitin signals represents the central challenge of the system. The postodoc is expected to identify critcal components for the recognition mechanisms and to perform function/mechanism study using various genetic, biochemical and molecular tools. Please send your CV and names of three references to Hongyong Fu, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Botany Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Application dead line: Mar 1, 2004.
