| Biochemical Society Focused Meeting on Post-transcriptional Regulation of Plant Gene Expression University of East Anglia, Norwich, U.K. 15-17 April 2004 This meeting brings together speakers from the US, Japan and Europe working on post-transcriptional regulation in plants. The meeting subjects include ribosome structure, RNA processing, RNA binding proteins, mRNA stability, 3' UTR regulation, proteomics of the nucleolus, microRNA genes and targets, the translational machinery in plants, translation initiation, metabolite control of translational arrest, differential mRNA translation identified by microarrays, chloroplast translation and control of translation reinitiation.
