Plant root growth profile estimation software: RootflowRT

Hello list, just to introduce the free RootflowRT software at
[Only registered users see links. ] . This is a package
running on PC, Mac and linux to get the accurate mosaiced growth
profiles of various plant roots such as Arabidopsis and Maize. Both
the parallel and perpendicular velocity profiles and the motion field
images are generated from the software. The growth profiles can be
generated by differentiating the velocity profiles. The growth
profiles are very useful in studying the plant root's elongation,
twisting, bending, growth zone separation, root aging, lighting, etc.

The software RootflowRT is free to be used by research work. It is
developed with the funding of NSF and Univ. of Missouri. The related

deformable motion at high spatial and temporal resolution applied to
root growth: Roughly uniform elongation in the meristem and also,
