In apoptosis, after Caspase 3 tears a cell apart, why doesn't it continue to tear apart nearby cells, too? ? -- faye kane homeless brain |
In apoptosis, the cell doesn't lyse. Therefore, caspase 3 and other pro-apoptotic compounds are not released to interact with other cells. In addition, how would these compounds get in the other cells? |
