Default Trypan Blue Exclusion Test of Cell Viability

I want to use trypan blue to test cell viability by Vi-Cell Viability Analyzer of adherent stem cells.
my concern is that when I will remove culture medium and wash with PBS before trypsinization, I might remove all the dead cells which are floating in the medium so that might affect the viablity test.
Please could you tell me the best way to circumvent this problem?

You can first collect the medium, spin it down and resuspend in trypsin, which you then add to the adherent cells.
