| There are a lot of reasons that can influence a cell to go through apoptosis . One potability is that the cell DNA is defected in some way . In that case , some cautions procedures are taking place and the cell gets a signals for apoptosis . |

| there are a few reasons that a cell might kill itself. One is there is mutation in its DNA. One happens is theres a gene called p53 that checks the DNA to see if there are any mistakes. If the mutation is to corrupt for repair, its sends it to apoptosis, but if it a minor, but fixable mutation, it calls another gene called p21 that goes and fixes the DNA. Or the cel might be damaged on a side beyond repair, and you dont want it to divide into more screwed up cells, so it kills its self for your well being |
