Question Method to Concentrate Tissue Culture Supernatant for Antibody?

Hi,
does anyone have the best method to concentrate tissue culture supernatants for antibody?

Im trying to concentrate 1 to 5 liters of hybridoma supernatants with murine IgG.

What are others are using to concentrate these supernatants for protein A or G column purification?

thanks!

Hello Dionisia,
the best way to do this is either salt or chemical precipitation, centrifugation, or concentration method such as lyophilization.

what are you trying currently?

Zonal or gradient centrifugation is probably best depending on the size/nature of your protein.
