| Hi all, We are working with identification of some motor pumps ( HeLa cell line) using custom polyclonal sera obtained from some reputed company. We have used this polysera to identify the target protein (6x-His-v5 tag) on western blot.Surprisingly, this polysera recognized a protein of higher size ( more than 15 kDa) than the one recogized by the comercial anti-v5 antibody( Invitrogen). We don't know why this migrational differences? We highly appreciate your suggesations on this- Thanks- Anil |
